Dr. Josi Hwang (she/her) is a clinical psychologist providing care in the Integrated Behavioral Health service in Adult Primary Care and the Lupus Clinic at Boston Medical Center. Dr. Hwang received her PhD in Clinical Psychologist at Fuller Theological Seminary, School of Psychology in 2017. Her research has focused on migration related trauma and faith/spirituality, with a focus on Spanish-speaking communities in precarious migratory situations. Previously she worked as Psychology Instructor at Pontificia Universidad Catolica del Peru and Universidad Tecnologica del Peru in Lima, Peru. Her clinical interests lie in increasing access to behavioral health services in outpatient settings to individuals who are suffer from chronic illnesses and are a part of minoritized groups.
