  • Education Dr. Ana Maria Rivas-Grajales is a Neuropsychiatrist and Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. Dr. Rivas-Grajales completed residency training in psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine, and a clinical fellowship in Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital. She currently serves as the Director of the Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Clinic at Boston Medical Center, where she provides care to patients with major depressive disorder. Her clinical expertise include neuropsychiatric complications of movement disorders, dementia, epilepsy and functional neurological disorder. Her research focuses on understanding of the mechanism of action of neuromodulation therapies for treatment-resistant depression, and identifying clinical and imaging biomarkers of rapid-acting antidepressants.
