Dr. Cayla Vila Wins AAN DEI Award
Dr. Cayla Vila, PGY-4 resident in Neurology, is the recipient of the 2024 American Academy of Neurology (AAN) Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Innovator Award. Dr. Vila will use this award to organize a program for in-person Spanish interpreters for stroke codes.
The AAN DEI Innovator Grants and AAN DEI Project Grants support projects, events, and activities that foster DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) within academic neurology departments or the communities they serve.
