Dr. Lau Named September’s Distinguished Faculty of the Month

Dr. K.H. Vincent Lau has just been named September’s Distinguished Faculty of the Month by the BU Faculty Affairs Office. Dr. Lau received his bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Toronto and his MD from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, NY. He completed a residency in neurology and was chief resident at Yale-New Haven Hospital. He subsequently completed a fellowship in neuromuscular medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston.

Dr. Lau currently serves as outpatient medical director of Neurology, director of the Neuromuscular Fellowship, and associate director of the Neurology Residency.

Dr. Lau was described by his nominators as “an incredible role model, one of the most outstanding teachers in our department; he creates an engaging and welcoming environment for students to learn, thrive and develop as clinicians.”
