Dr. Emelia Benjamin inducted to the American Association of Physicians
Emelia J Benjamin, MD, ScM has been inducted into the American Association of Physicians (https://aap-online.org). The AAP is an honorary 130-year old society founded by Sir William Osler. The website states “Election to the AAP is an honor extended to physicians with outstanding credentials in basic or translational biomedical research and is limited to 70 persons per year. Members of the AAP have included Nobel laureates, and members of the United States National Academy of Sciences and the Institute of Medicine.”
