The training faculty of the Biomolecular Pharmacology Program have diverse research interests and apply a wide-range of technologies in their BU laboratories.

Primary faculty in the department share interests in neuroscience while additional faculty from across the university come together to provide training in such areas as cancer and cardiovascular biology, bioinformatics, data analysis and computational modeling, chemistry, genetic epidemiology, structural biology, tissue engineering, NMR and x-ray crystallography.

Incoming students take a laboratory rotations course their first year to experience the breadth of the program and to identify a laboratory for their thesis research.  Training faculty serve on dissertation advisory committees and qualifying exams, as well as serving as thesis research mentors.
