Our research laboratory is located in the Evans Biomedical Research Center (X-building). Our lab is part of Boston University School of Medicine, Section of Infectious Diseases. Our research involves three pathogenic bacteria: Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Neisseria meningitidis, and Porphyromonas gingivalis. We have collaborators throughout the world. Boston University collaborators that work with us regularly include: Jane Freedman, Frank Gibson, Ellen Weinberg, James Hamilton, Paola Massari, Lee Wetzler and Robin Ingalls. Our laboratory is dedicated to understanding host-pathogen interactions and the role these pathogens play in pathogenesis.
