Alcohol Screening and Brief Intervention Curriculum

CARE Unit Education & Training Programs

An evidence-based free curriculum geared toward generalist clinicians to teach skills to address unhealthy alcohol use (e.g. screening, assessment, brief intervention, and referral) in primary care settings and to build knowledge and skills regarding cross-cultural efficacy. The curriculum includes a PowerPoint slide presentation, trainer notes, and three case-based videos. Supporting curricula on health disparities, cultural competence, and pharmacotherapy also included.
