Two-factor VPN Begins May 31
Starting Thursday, May 31, you will no longer be able to access Y Drive when off campus without using the BU two-factor VPN with Duo Security. No extra steps will be required when connecting while on campus, using the wired or wireless network.
What should I do now?
Take the time now to start using, and becoming familiar with the BU two-factor VPN. Follow these steps.
Why are we making this change?
Requiring the BU two-factor VPN from off-campus prevents an attacker from accessing the Y drive. BU faculty, staff and students are frequent targets of phishing emails, and attackers regularly compromise Terrier accounts. Learn how to fight phishing at our Tech Web Page.
