Changes to Time Management

Since July 2011’s SAP Go-Live, the Time Services function, which includes time entry, processing and absence tracking, resided with Human Resources. In an effort to provide greater efficiencies to the University, the Time Services function is in the process of moving to Payroll Services. Human Resources and Payroll Services have been working together to hand off the functions of:

  • Monthly and weekly time processing and error resolutions
  • Time off request system oversight and functionality
  • Accrual tracking
  • Vacation payouts for Exempt Staff

The following functions will still reside with Human Resources:

  • Time processing/entry training for Time Keepers, Managers and Employees. Please note: all current training for time-related functions for time keepers and managers can be found under Time Related Instructions:

In order to make this transition seamless, please contact for any time-related questions. Any time-related e-mails directed to any HR e-mail box will be forwarded accordingly to the Payroll Services team. If you have any questions or concerns,  contact
