BUSPH Research Day Nov. 14

On Nov. 14, the BU School of Public Health will hold its Inaugural Research Day, featuring examples of the first-rate research and scholarship being conducted at the school by its students, post-doctoral fellows and junior faculty.

Research and scholarship are central to the mission of the School of Public Health and occur in multiple areas, including risk assessment and tracking, health behavior change, environmental protection, and health policy.

The program includes Kirsten Davison, PhD, Associate Professor, Department of Nutrition at Harvard School of Public Health. She will be speaking on Parent-centered Community-based Participatory Research and its Application to Childhood Obesity Prevention.
