Expanding the Palliative Care Team
The Palliative Care team, led by Director Henri Lee, has grown steadily over the past few years. The program now delivers care through a new home-based palliative care service that launched in February 2025, a growing outpatient clinic embedded in oncology, and a well-established inpatient consult service. In the past year, the program has hired two new palliative care NPs and a social worker.
The Palliative Care team offers specialized, personalized support for patients and their families facing serious or life-threatening illnesses. Whether patients are experiencing physical or emotional strain during a hospital stay or navigating complex care decisions, the team’s goal is to enhance quality of life at any stage of illness.
