2026 CARE Clinical Undergraduate Research in Addictions – Training and Experiences (CURATE) Application
Application materials will be accepted through February 6, 2026. After you submit your application, a confirmation email will automatically be sent to your email (check your spam folder). If you do not receive a confirmation email, that means your application was not submitted and we did not receive it. Please ensure all required fields are filled out and resubmit your application.
To complete the application process, we require the following:
1) Resume or CV
2) Academic transcript (you must be in good academic standing at your institution and be an incoming sophomore, junior, or senior in the next or upcoming academic year)
3) Personal statement describing a strong interest in addiction research and clear learning goals for participating in this program (500 word max)
4) Letter of recommendation from your home institution’s faculty (e.g. mentor, advisor, departmental director)
All students will receive support for housing, meals, and stipends. Travel stipends to and from BUMC will be provided to CURATE students who express disability or financial hardship.
