• Title Undergraduate Research Assistant – Blower Lab
  • Office Blower Lab, K112

I am a current undergrad working in the Blower Lab, where we are investigating how cell division affects gene expression in meiotic and mitotic cells. My research focuses on the role that hnRNPUL1, an RNA/DNA-tethering protein, plays in cellular division. My current focus is on using CRISPR to insert an auxin-inducible degron sequence to deplete this protein within the cell.

Outside of school, I am focusing on completing my bachelor’s degree in biology with a CMG specialization and a German minor, after which I plan to pursue an MD. During my free time, I enjoy practicing with the water polo team here at BU, of which I am the vice president.
