• Title Graduate Student – Blower Lab
  • Education Biology and Chemistry, Quinnipiac University
  • Office K112

I am a graduate student in Dr. Mike Blower’s lab. My research focuses on the stability of Xist, the long non-coding RNA which inactivates one X chromosome in XX (female) cells, throughout the cell cycle.

I graduated from Quinnipiac University in 2020 with a degree in Biology and Chemistry. From 2018-2020, I interned at Yale University School of Medicine, where I was afforded the opportunity to join the lab of Dr. W. Mark Saltzman to study the biodistribution of PLGA nanoparticles in a mouse model. Later, I researched in Dr. Peter Glazer’s lab utilizing PNA/DNA-loaded nanoparticles to correct Sickle Cell Disease. I am eager to learn more at Boston University School of Medicine as I pursue my PhD.
