After completing my undergraduate studies in Neuroscience and Physiology at UC San Diego, I was eager to explore the applied side of science. I was thrilled to begin my research pursuits under the mentorship of Dr. Ara Nazarian at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center’s Musculoskeletal Translational Innovation Initiative. There, I conducted translational animal research and supported clinical studies focused on arthrofibrosis, fracture repair, and clinical fracture prediction. This formative experience inspired me to delve further and pursue graduate studies at Boston University, where I am beginning to investigate adipose fibrosis under the mentorship of Dr. Matthew Layne.
