Global Health Pathway

A Global Health Pathway has become available for neurology residents interested in providing neurological care to patients in developing nations. The track will provide an introduction to global health and the skills needed to clinically practice and manage neurological disease in resource-limited environments.

Global Health Pathway – Components

  • Global Health Modules (5) with a focus on neurology,
  • Opportunities to attend global health seminars through the Department of Medicine,
  • International Field Experience, 1-2 months. Sites currently available include Haiti, India, and China,
  • Scholarly research project on a global health with a faculty mentor.
