One-on-One Meetings

One-on-One Sessions: NIH/AHRQ Program Staff

Program staff from several NIH/AHRQ institutes have agreed to be available at the conference for one-on-one meetings.  Attendees may request a 15-minute individual meeting with program staff to discuss their research ideas. These sessions will be scheduled concurrent with lunch sessions at HARC on Monday and Tuesday 10/28-29.

Participants interested in an individual session with program staff must submit an abstract no longer than 1 page which includes the following:

  1. Key question to be answered by the research
  2. Summary of approach and methods
  3. Questions about advancing the topic further
  4. Name of program staff member or NIH Institute to which request should be addressed

These abstracts will be given to the specified program officer and be used to provide content specific feedback at the time of the meeting.

Submit your abstract as a Word document to katherine.waite@bmc.org by October 5, 2013. In the subject line of the email, please indicate: Program Staff One-on-One Session Request.  Once all requests have been received, individual meetings will be scheduled and you will be contacted with your meeting time and place.

Several established research mentors have agreed to be available at the conference for one-on-one meetings.  Attendees may request a 15-minute individual meeting with a mentor to discuss their research ideas. These sessions will be scheduled concurrent with lunch sessions at HARC. Participants interested in an individual session with a research mentor must submit an abstract no longer than 1 page which includes the following:
