Fredric Majnoun

Fredric Majnoun serves as the Associate Dean for Research Administration and Finance at Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. Fredric joined BU in 2001 as Senior Accounts Technician in the Finance Department of the Division of Extended Education. Since then, he has worked in the areas of research, finance, sponsored research, and business services. He has worked across both the central and departmental tiers at Boston University, where he carried out numerous operational responsibilities and gained valuable strategic planning experience. Before becoming Assistant Dean of Research Administration and Finance, he served as Director of the Office of Financial and Grants Administration (OFGA).

Fredric is responsible for all BUSM research administration and department finances including oversight of OFGA and OPD. He reviews and updates department and research administration standard policies and operating procedures.

Frederic received his BS in Business Economics from Azad University in Iran and his Master’s degree in Administrative Studies/Financial Economics from BU.
