Brandan Farquharson
Financial and Grants Administrator
Brandan Farquharson is the Financial & Grants Administrator for the Department of Pathology. He joined BU in 2023 initially working with a student pathway program and managing their grant & finances before transitioning to OFGA.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science with concentrations in American Constitutional Law and Philosophy with a minor in Health Sciences. Before joining BU, Brandan worked across affordable housing, local government, and the startup sector. This diverse mix of interests & experiences continue to inform his thoughtful and collaborative approach to research administration. He enjoys working at the intersection of policy compliance, finance, and operations to support BU’s research mission.
Outside of work he enjoys reading (history & fiction), staying active, travel, and spending time with his wife & family.
