Prospective Trainees
If you have been selected for the BUSM Pathology MA degree, congratulations and welcome! The faculty and staff look forward to your arrival and will support you through this exciting process.
You will be joining the large and vibrant community of Boston University, with 33000 undergraduate and graduate students from more than 130 countries, and nearly 10000 faculty and staff.
Your activities will take place on one of the two BU campuses: the Boston University Medical Campus (BUMC), where the university shares facilities and resources with Boston Medical Center (BMC), a multi-specialty academic and medical center. The joint efforts of these two institutions have made remarkable contributions to the scientific community.

Getting Your Visa
Prior to your arrival, you should be in compliance with the federal requirements regarding non-immigrant visa status. You will be guided through the necessary steps to obtain your visa. For information on this process, visit the BU International Students and Scholars Office.
Taking the GRE Test
Prior to their arrival, incoming students are required to obtain approval on the Graduate Record Examinations Test. For more information, please visit the Educational Testing Service website.
Enrolling in School
The BUSM-BUK Infectious Diseases Training Program has designed a plan for the coursework you will be expected to complete during the two years of your Masters degree.
