Diagnostic Procedures

Diagnostic services include cardiac catheterization with resting and/or exercise hemodynamics, echocardiography and Doppler flow studies, cardiopulmanary exercise testing and electrophysiology with ablation. An initial outpatient evaluation of a patient with cardiomyopathy or heart failure typically includes an echocardiogram and metabolic exercise test if these are not already available, and an in-depth consultation with a heart failure specialist.
