Lab Website<\/a><\/p>\n Publications<\/a> Positions and Honors<\/a><\/p>\n I am a genetic epidemiologist and board-certified medical geneticist, and have devoted my career to elucidating the genetic basis of human diseases.\u00a0 My notable achievements in the last several years include the discovery of the association of CFH with age-related macular generation, and the discovery of the genetic and biological association of Alzheimer disease (AD) with SORL1 and other sortillin-related proteins. For more than 20 years, I have directed several large multi-center genetic studies in AD including the MIRAGE Study.
