{"id":7457,"date":"2025-07-03T15:56:44","date_gmt":"2025-07-03T19:56:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/virol-immunol-microbio\/?p=7457"},"modified":"2025-07-03T15:56:44","modified_gmt":"2025-07-03T19:56:44","slug":"2025-corwin-award-winners","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/virol-immunol-microbio\/2025\/07\/03\/2025-corwin-award-winners\/","title":{"rendered":"2025 Corwin Award Winners"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are delighted to announce that there are two winners of the 2025 Corwin Award: Elise Armstrong from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/virol-immunol-microbio\/profile\/joseph-p-mizgerd-sc-d\/\">Jay Mizgerd\u2019s lab<\/a> and Scott Adams from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/virol-immunol-microbio\/profile\/florian-douam-ph-d\/\">Florian Douam\u2019s lab<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Corwin Award was established in 1994 to recognize a Virology, Immunology &amp; Microbiology Graduate Student who displays the qualities of an outstanding departmental \u201ccitizen\u201d, one whose exemplary scholarly and\/or scientific achievement, values of collegiality and scientific integrity, and active participation in department and campus activities best epitomize the contributions of the former member of our department, Larry Corwin.
