This research uses national, regional, and local databases as well as<span> institutional data, with a focus on inequalities in the access, care, and outcomes of surgical patients.\u00a0<\/span>Projects can be independently completed by surgical faculty and residents or collectively executed under the guidance of our institutional endeavors such as the<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/surgery\/research\/boston-trauma-institute\/\">Boston T<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/surgery\/research\/boston-trauma-institute\/\">rauma Institute (BTI)<\/a>.
