BMC is the largest and busiest Level I Trauma Center in the city, serving a diverse adult and pediatric population. The hospital provides comprehensive primary and specialty care across all medical and surgical disciplines, including pediatrics and obstetrics/gynecology. Its robust clinical departments have established BMC as a tertiary care center recognized regionally, nationally, and internationally for excellence in patient care, education, and research.

BMC’s guiding motto—“Exceptional care, without exception”—reflects our unwavering commitment to providing outstanding care to all patients, regardless of background or circumstance.

The integrated Boston Veterans Administration Medical Center (BVAMC) offers complementary training experiences at two campuses: Jamaica Plain (outpatient) and West Roxbury (inpatient). These sites broaden residents’ clinical exposure and enhance their understanding of radiology practice across different healthcare settings.

We recruit nine Diagnostic Radiology residents and one Integrated Interventional Radiology resident per year.
