It was a market building that served as a meeting place for Patriots on the eve of the\u00a0American Revolution. Meetings to discuss the Stamp Act, the\u00a0Boston Massacre, the \u201ctea crisis,\u201d were all held at Faneuil Hall.<\/p>\n<div>\n<dl id=\"attachment_6447\">\n<dt><a href=\"\/radiology\/files\/2020\/09\/samuel-adams-portrait.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/radiology\/files\/2020\/09\/samuel-adams-portrait.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"304\" height=\"304\" \/><\/a><\/dt>\n<dt>Portrait of Samuel Adams, Oil on canvas, 1772.
