Lui, MD, MS, FCCP, ATSF<\/a> has been awarded a K23 Career Development Award from the NIH\/NHLBI, titled \u201cRole of B-cells in Systemic Sclerosis-related Pulmonary Hypertension,\u201d designed to gain a more detailed understanding into the mechanisms and molecular pathways of systemic sclerosis-related pulmonary hypertension (SSc-PH). Employing a biorepository of patients with SSc, he hopes to create a deep endotyping of patients with and without PH using\u00a0 patterns of B-cell subsets, cytokines, autoantibodies, and mRNA gene expression profile.
