Lauren Kearney, MD, fourth year pulmonary fellow, was in a recent podcast episode of The Other Page Radio on WBCA 102.9 FM, hosted by Haywood Fennell. Fennell founded The Tri-Ad Veterans\u2019 League and is a community partner for Dr. Renda Wiener’s VA funded research project VET PEER CONNECTS. They were joined by Steven Abrams, the Veteran Peer Specialist engaged in the project.<\/p>\n

Together, they discuss the significance of lung cancer screenings among African American veterans, specifically highlighting their CHOIR program’s outreach efforts. Throughout the episode, Dr. Kearney raises awareness about lung cancer risks and advocates for the utilization of Boston VA’s Lung Cancer Screening program.<\/p>\n
