Its poorly understood pathogenesis, due in part to a paucity of productive disease models, hampers clinical advancement for interstitial lung disease (ILD). Assistant Professor\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/medicine\/profile\/kostas-alysandratos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Kontantinos Alysandratos<\/a>\u00a0and Professor <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/medicine\/profile\/darrell-kotton\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Darrell Kotton<\/a>\u00a0have made a major advance in this arena by recapitulating early events in ILD.
