We had a great showing at this year’s APA Annual Meeting in San Francisco.\u00a0 Dr Henderson and Dr Renner both received prestigious awards.

\nHere is\u00a0<\/span>David C. Henderson, MD<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>receiving the Special Presidential Commendation.<\/p>\n


\nAnd here is\u00a0<\/span>John Renner, MD<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>received the Distinguished Service Award.<\/p>\n

Here are the workshops and posters that were presented:
\nLisa R. Fortuna, MD,\u00a0MPH, MDiv\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>presented a workshop titled \u201cTrauma Inflicted to Immigrant Children and Parents Through Policy of Forced Family Separation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Michelle P. Durham, MD, MPH<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>presented a workshop titled \u201cFinding Your Match: The Process of Obtaining Residency Positions.\u201d<\/p>\n

John Renner, MD<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>presented three workshops titled \u201cBuprenorphine and Office Based Treatment of Opioid Use Disorder,\u201d\u00a0\u201cTreating Opioid Use Disorder: What every psychiatrist should know,\u201d and \u201cInnovative Approaches to the Opioid Epidemic.\u201d<\/p>\n

Ozan Toy, MD, PGY3<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span>resident presented a poster titled “Psychosis in a Young Female with Multiple Sclerosis.\u201d<\/p>\n
