Applicants must have a valid IELTS Academic score that meets their program\u2019s English proficiency requirement. IELTS score cannot be more than 2 years old by time of application deadline.\u00a0 Award amount is $5,000.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.aauw.org\/what-we-do\/educational-funding-and-awards\/international-fellowships\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">American Association of University Women (AAUW)<\/a><br \/>\nAAUW helps women around the globe break through barriers and pursue their dreams of obtaining graduate degrees or making an impact in their communities. International Fellowships are awarded for full-time study in the US to women who are not US citizens or permanent residents in the amount of $18,000 (Master\u2019s\/First Professional Degree Fellowship).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/educationusa.state.gov\/find-financial-aid\">EducationUSA<\/a><br \/>\nEducationUSA is a US Department of State network of over 430 international student advising centers\u00a0in more than 175 countries and territories that provides financial aid opportunities to international students who are interested in studying in the US.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/foreign.fulbrightonline.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fulbright Foreign Student Program<\/a><br \/>\nThe Fulbright Foreign Student Program brings citizens of other countries to the United States for Master\u2019s degree or Ph.D. study at US universities or other appropriate institutions. Foreign students apply for Fulbright Fellowships through the Fulbright Commission\/Foundation or US Embassy in their home countries.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gyandhan.com\/scholarships\/gd-scholarship\">GyanDhan Scholarship<\/a><br \/>\nThe GyanDhan Scholarship is a test-based scholarship for students around the world to pursue higher education, whether in India or abroad. The scholarship amount is INR 2.5 lakhs (INR 250,000) per student.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.iie.org\/en\/Students\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Institute of International Education<\/a><br \/>\nIIE offers foreign students a \u201ctoolkit\u201d of resources for funding study in the US, with a focus on sources such as the Fulbright Program, Education USA, and Funding For US Study.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.intlstudent.org\/scholarships.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">International Student Organization in the USA (ISO)<\/a><br \/>\nISO provides a detailed list of organizations which offer scholarships and grants to international students based upon factors such as background and area of interest.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.peointernational.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Philanthropic Educational Organization (P.E.O.) International<\/a><br \/>\nProvides scholarships up to $12,500 for women from other countries for full-time graduate study in the US and Canada.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.worldbank.org\/en\/programs\/scholarships\">World Bank Scholarships<\/a><br \/>\nFunded by the Japanese government, these scholarships provide funding for graduate education to Japanese citizens and citizens of developing countries in\u00a0<span>development-related fields.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Region or Country-Specific Resources<\/h3>\n<h4>AFRICA<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.8b.africa\/\">8B Education Investments<\/a><br \/>\nOffers tailored loan options for African students pursuing higher education at top global universities. Loans are available through 8B directly or in partnership with international and U.S.-based lenders. Eligibility generally requires acceptance into an accredited institution and may include criteria such as academic performance and financial need.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.iie.org\/en\/Programs\/Richard-A-Horovitz-Fund-for-Professional-Development#.WG_jqrYrJjA\">Richard A. Horowitz Fund<\/a><br \/>\n<span>A one-time award is granted to one or two students for graduate study for a 12 month period. The amount of the award normally ranges from $6,000 to $12,000.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>ASIA &amp; AFRICA<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.akdn.org\/our-agencies\/aga-khan-foundation\/international-scholarship-programme\">The Aga Khan Foundation International Scholarship<\/a><br \/>\n<span>Scholarships for students from select developing countries to pursue a postgraduate education.\u00a0<\/span><span>Applications are accepted from nationals of the following countries: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Egypt, India, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Madagascar, Mozambique, Pakistan, Syria, Tajikistan, Tanzania, and Uganda. Applicants who live in Canada, France, Portugal and the USA are also able to apply if they are originally from one of the above developing countries, are interested in development-related studies and who have no other means of financing their education.\u00a0<\/span><span>The scholarship provides funding for tuition fees and living costs only.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>AMERICAS<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.oas.org\/en\/scholarships\/default.asp\"><span>OAS Academic Scholarship Program<\/span><\/a><br \/>\nThe Organization of American States offers funding to residents of American countries.<\/p>\n<h4>BELGIUM<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/baef.be\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Belgium American Educational Foundation (BAEF)<\/a><br \/>\nBAEF offers non-renewable grants to Belgian citizens for one academic year of graduate study in the US The Foundation will pay up to $30,000 for tuition and health insurance at a US institution and $18,000 to cover living and travel expenses.<\/p>\n<h4>BRAZIL<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.estudar.org.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Estudar<\/a><br \/>\nFunda\u00e7\u00e3o Estudar offers scholarships to Brazilian nationals and citizens who want to further their education by pursuing undergraduate or graduate study in Brazil and abroad.<\/p>\n<h4>CANADA<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.afe.gouv.qc.ca\/en\/index.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Aide Financi\u00e8re Aux \u00c9tudes<\/a><br \/>\nAide Financi\u00e8re Aux \u00c9tudes provides Canadian citizens or permanent residents who are residents of Quebec with financial assistance for full-time study at an educational institution in or outside of Quebec through the Loans and Bursaries Program. Funding is provided in the form of loans or bursaries in varying amounts.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.scholarships-bourses.gc.ca\/scholarships-bourses\/index.aspx?lang=eng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Government of Canada<\/a><br \/>\nScholarships for graduate level study\/research offered to Canadians wishing to study abroad.<\/p>\n<p><span><a href=\"https:\/\/mkingscholarships.ca\/\">The Mackenzie King Scholarships<\/a><\/span><br \/>\nOpen to graduates of Canadian universities seeking funding for graduate study abroad.<\/p>\n<h4>INDIA<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.inlaksfoundation.org\/scholarships\/how-to-apply\/\">Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation<\/a><br \/>\nGrants scholarships for Indian students accepted at top American, European and UK institutions, for funding requirements including tuition fees.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jntataendowment.org\/\"><span>The\u00a0<\/span><span>JN Tata Endowment<\/span><span>\u00a0for the Higher Education of Indians<\/span><\/a><br \/>\nThe amount to be awarded to each scholar by way of the loan scholarship ranges from Rs.2,00,000\/- and Rs.10,00,000\/-. All selected applicants do not necessarily qualify for the maximum amount.\u00a0The selected scholars may also recommend for a gift scholarship and travel assistance from our allied Trusts as may be decided at the sole discretion of the Trustees of the concerned Trusts. A gift scholarship can be for a maximum amount of Rs.10,00,000\/- and the travel grant can be a maximum of Rs.50,000\/-.<\/p>\n<h4>INDONESIA<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/lpdp.kemenkeu.go.id\/en\/\">Indonesia Endowment Fund of Education (LPDP)<\/a><br \/>\nA highly selective full-ride scholarship program offered by the Indonesian government to all Indonesian young professionals who want to pursue a master\u2019s or doctorate degree at an Indonesian or overseas institution<\/p>\n<h4><strong>ITALY<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fondostudentiitaliani.it\/come-accedere\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Italian Student Loan Fund (Fondo per Studenti Italiani)<\/a><br \/>\nThe Fund offers financial aid to Italian university graduates who wish to attend a post-graduate course (Master of Ph.D.) in the US. Financing is awarded at a maximum of \u20ac20,000.<\/p>\n<h4>KAZAKHSTAN<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bolashak.gov.kz\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bolashak International Scholarship<\/a><br \/>\n<span>Offers scholarships to talented Kazakhstani citizens for graduate level studies. Award can cover full tuition, books, insurance, travel expenses, and monthly stipends for living costs.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>LATIN AMERICA &amp; THE CARIBBEAN<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.colfuturo.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">COLFUTURO<\/a><br \/>\nCOLFUTURO provides Colombian citizens seeking postgraduate study abroad with scholarship-loans of up to $25,000 per year for a maximum study period of two years through the \u201cCr\u00e9dito Beca\u201d program.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.oas.org\/en\/rowefund\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Rowe Fund (Organization of American States)<\/a><br \/>\nThe Rowe Fund helps qualified citizens from Latin America and Caribbean<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.oas.org\/en\/rowefund\/eligiblecountries.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">OAS Member States<\/a><span>\u00a0<\/span>finance their studies across the US with awards of interest-free loans of up to $15,000.<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"content-body\"><strong>MEXICO<\/strong><\/h4>\n<div class=\"content-body\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.funedmx.org\/\">FUNED<\/a><br \/>\nFUNED (Fundaci\u00f3n Mexicana para la Educaci\u00f3n, la Tecnolog\u00eda y la Ciencia) offers scholarships and grants for high-achieving Mexican students to study postgraduate masters degree programs.<\/div>\n<h4>MIDDLE EAST\/NORTH AFRICA<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.amideast.org\/our-work\/find-a-scholarship\">AMIDEAST<\/a><br \/>\nScholarships and scholarship matching resources for students from North Africa and the Middle East.<\/p>\n<h4>NETHERLANDS<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wilweg.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">WilWeg<\/a><br \/>\nWilWeg lists a variety of scholarship programs for study abroad, including the Holland Scholarship and others administered by<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.epnuffic.nl\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">EP-Nuffic<\/a>.<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.studyinholland.nl\/scholarships\/find-a-scholarship\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Study in Holland<\/a><span>\u00a0<\/span>provides a comprehensive database of grant and scholarship opportunities, within which candidates may search on the basis of awards covering the field of interest. The<span>\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wilweg.nl\/financiering\/beursopener\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Beursopener<\/a>\u00a0search engine additionally provides a listing of over 250 grants and scholarships for Dutch students seeking internships, research opportunities, and positions abroad.<\/p>\n<h4>NORWAY<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/noram.no\/\">NORAM Scholarships<\/a><br \/>\nThe Norway-America Association offers stipends to Norwegian citizens for graduate study and research\u00a0in the U.S. in the amount of $2,000 \u2013 $20,000. Preference will be given to those residing in Norway and\u00a0planning to return to Norway to continue their academic\/professional work.\u00a0Up to 35 scholarships are awarded each year, and a maximum of two grants may be received from NORAM for Master\u2019s and Ph.D. studies in the US.<\/p>\n<h4>POLAND<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/thekf.org\/what-we-do\/grants-scholarships\/\">The Kosciuszko Foundation<\/a><br \/>\nThe Kosciuszko Foundation annually awards a number of Fellowships\/Grants for advanced study, research, and\/or teaching at universities and other institutions of higher learning in the United States.<\/p>\n<h4>SAUDI ARABIA<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sacm.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SACM<\/a><br \/>\n<span>The Saudia Arabian Cultural Mission (SACM) can provide information about scholarships offered by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia government to study in the US.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>SCANDINAVIA<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amscan.org\/study_in_america_details.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">American-Scandinavian Foundation (ASF)<\/a><br \/>\nASF offers funding to citizens of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, or Sweden to pursue study or research programs (typically at the graduate level) in the US for up to one year.<\/p>\n<h4>SCOTLAND<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.standrewsny.org\/Scholarship\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">St. Andrew\u2019s Society of the State of New York<\/a><br \/>\nThe Society provides funding in the amount of $20,000 to $30,000 for two Scottish graduate students to study in the US per year. Funds should be used initially against tuition, then board, transportation and other expenses.<\/p>\n<h4>SPAIN<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.frdelpino.es\/category\/02becas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fundaci\u00f3n Rafael del Pino<\/a><br \/>\nThis foundation provides limited scholarships per year for Spanish students who plan to pursue graduate-level study in Spain or abroad.<\/p>\n<h4>THAILAND<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/scholarship.ocsc.go.th\/ocsc\/\">Royal Thai Government Scholarship Program<\/a><br \/>\nThe Royal Thai Government Scholarship Program provides funding for students so that they may bring back innovative ideas and expertise to help in the technological and economic development of their country.<\/p>\n<h4>UKRAINE<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/worldwidestudies.org\/en\/page\/financing\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">WorldWideStudies Scholarship<\/a><br \/>\nThe Victor Pinchuk Foundation\u2019s WorldWideStudies Scholarship offers grant awards covering 60% of expenses required to complete a Master\u2019s degree abroad up to $30,000. Eligible candidates must be Ukrainian citizens under the age of 35 at the time of enrollment in the degree program.<\/p>\n<h4>UNITED KINGDOM<\/h4>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bunac.org\/bunac\/scholarships-and-awards\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">British Universities North America Club (BUNAC)<\/a><br \/>\nBUNAC Educational Scholarship Trust (BEST) scholarships offer financial assistance to UK passport holders seeking to undertake postgraduate study in the US or Canada. Individual award amounts vary, but a typical award is in the amount of approximately \u00a35,000 to \u00a310,000.<\/p>\n<h1>Private Educational Loans<\/h1>\n<p><span>On an annual basis, Boston University invites lenders to provide information about their products through a Request for Information (RFI) process. The University has reviewed the information provided by every lender who submitted information and, based on the information submitted, identified the following loan products as having competitive rates, customer service, and borrower benefits. We highly recommend utilizing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.credible.com\/a\/bostonuniversity\">Credible\u00a0 <\/a>and our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/osfs\/applying-for-aid\/international-students\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">International Students<\/span><\/a> page to start the loan search where you can compare credit-based loan information and terms carefully to determine the best fit for your particular circumstances.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h1>Other Loan Sources<\/h1>\n<p>The website below\u00a0lists\u00a0information on\u00a0loan options that international students seeking to study in the US have available to them.
