Welcome! Housing Resources is here to help Boston University Medical Campus students find a place to live in the Boston and surrounding areas.\u00a0 We are here to walk you through the entire housing search process \u2014 from picking a neighborhood to finding a roommate to signing a lease.\u00a0 Even after you find a place to live, we can help you with any issues you may have getting settled in Boston or working through any roommate or landlord conflicts.<\/p>\n

Mission Statement:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Housing Resources mission is to educate, advise and assist students on the practices and policies of renting an apartment, on issues as they relate to roommates and landlords and on their rights and responsibilities as tenants. This mission is realized through excellence in service, resources, presentations and individual consultations.<\/p>\n

Housing Resources will be hosting our annual “All About Renting in Boston” webinar on Friday, March 6, with guest speaker Steve Handler. OHR and Steve will provide students with tips and resources on finding a place to live and how to navigate the rental process as well as answering questions from attendees. Not able to make it? 2026 BUMC Housing Guide<\/a> Available!<\/h2>\n

The 2026 BUMC Housing Guide, developed in partnership with VeryApt, is now available to all BUMC students! This guide was built using ratings and feedback from current BUMC students to assist current and incoming BUMC students with finding housing in the Boston area. You can use the guide to learn more about properties and landlords throughout Boston, the neighborhoods where BUMC students live, and expected rental expenses.<\/span><\/p>\n

*All reviews and ratings were provided by the BUMC students who submitted the VeryApt survey regarding housing for 2025. Percentages, specific amounts, and averages are based on information from students who submitted the survey and many not accurately reflect the entire BUMC student community.<\/em><\/p>\n
