Additionally, the council aims to identify ways to reduce the financial burden of the disease, improve health outcomes and quality of care, and address environmental triggers and underlying factors contributing to Parkinson\u2019s disease.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Cathi Ann Thomas, MS, RN, CNRN,\u00a0is\u00a0an Assistant Professor of Neurology and Program Director of the Parkinson Disease and Movement Disorders Center at Boston University Medical Campus (BUMC), based at Boston Medical Center.
