Research in the Department of Neurology at Boston University is historically strong and well-funded. Our research scientists have been conducting innovative basic research, translational studies, and clinic trials to understand disease pathogenesis, discover diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers, and develop novel useful therapeutic interventions. We strive to gain knowledge through research to improve prevention, diagnosis, management, and treatment of neurological diseases. Training next-generation physician-scientists is also an important mission of our research.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
