We provide comprehensive diagnosis and treatment services for individuals with all types of sleep problems including but not limited to obstructive sleep apnea, snoring, restless legs syndrome, insomnia, narcolepsy, abnormal behaviors during sleep, disruption of sleep\/wake cycle and circadian rhythm and parasomnias such as sleepwalking and night terrors. Along with providing our services, our Sleep Disorders Center is committed to educating the public that a good night’s sleep is a necessity, not a luxury.<\/p>\n
A recent poll by the National Sleep Foundation shows “the majority of American adults (63%) do not get the recommended 8 hours of sleep for good health, safety and optimum performance”. This translates into $100 billion dollars annually lost in productivity to the US economy. An additional $12.4 billion is lost due to automobile accidents resulting from drivers falling asleep at the wheel. Not only are sleep disorders a public health issue, they also influence a person’s individual health.
