Dr. Ludy Shih is board-certified in Neurology. After receiving her medical degree from the University of California School of Medicine, Los Angeles, she completed her internship, Neurology residency and Movement Disorders fellowship at Harvard/Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) in Boston. Prior to joining the Movement Disorders section at BUMC Dr. Shih was on faculty of Harvard Medical School as Assistant Professor of Neurology and Director of the Deep Brain Stimulation Program at BIDMC.
Dr. Shih has been named the director of the Deep Brain Stimulation Program at BUMC and is actively engaged in teaching, patient care and clinical research.
In April 2020 Dr Shih was appointed as Director of Neurology Research Education.
