Originally from Egypt, Mohamed joined the medical field after receiving heavy encouragement from his father, and came to join the BMC Nephrology Fellowship in 2019. After experiencing a \u201cgreat visit\u201d with the program\u2019s Director, Dr. Ashish Upadhyay, Mohamed felt heavily drawn to choosing BMC for fellowship. His favorite aspect of the program has been the people involved. Within the world of Nephrology, Mohamed greatly enjoys physiology, and his proudest accomplishment in fellowship has been becoming involved in scholarly work. Outside of fellowship, Mohamed enjoys exploring Boston on his bike, as well as additional outdoor activities including hiking and swimming. He leaves with a final note- \u201cI will miss you all,\u201d and he will also be greatly missed.
