We care for the region&#8217;s most ethnically and racially diverse group of kidney transplant recipients and donors, and, among kidney transplant recipients added to our wait-list in the last 5 years, 33% are Black, 30% are White, 30% are of Hispanic ethnicity and 8% are of Asian heritage. Our transplant nephrologists work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team that includes transplant surgeons, donor surgeons, transplant co-ordinators, dieticians, pharmacists, social workers, psychiatrists, and other sub-specialty physicians.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Kidney Transplantation Program at Boston Medical Center has been serving patients in New England and beyond since 1977.
