These instruments were funded through the NIH\/NCRR Shared Instrument (S10) program.<\/p>\n<p>These instruments are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/mssil\/bruker-reflex-iv-maldi-tof-mass-spectrometer\/\" target=\"blank\">A Bruker Ultraflextreme TOF\/TOF Mass Spectrometer<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/mssil\/thermo-fisher-scientific-ltq-orbitrap-ms-system\/\" target=\"blank\">A Thermo-Fisher Scientific hybrid LTQ-Orbitrap Mass Spectrometry system<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/mssil\/Solarix\/\" target=\"blank\">A Bruker Daltonics Solarix 12 Tesla Fourier Transform Mass Spectrometer<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr>\n<h4>Here is information on how the instrument are operated.<\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>The instruments are used for ongoing collaborative projects involving post-translationally modified proteins, carbohydrates, or other glycoconjugates.<\/li>\n<li>These instruments are not used for routine proteomics service.<\/li>\n<li>Use of these instruments is through academic collaboration. Principal Investigators wishing to collaborate should contact Prof. Costello or Prof. Zaia. Typically a member of the collaborating lab works with a member of the Center for Biomedical Mass Spectrometry Staff. These people will work together to acquire and analyze the data.<br \/>\n<hr \/>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>For infomation on initiating a collaborating a contract, please contact <a href=\"mailto:cecmsms@bu.edu\">Prof. Catherine E.
