U. D. A.<\/strong><\/div>\n<p>\nBoston University Data Analysis (B.U.D.A.) is an &#8220;Open Source&#8221; Free software project to develop analysis software for Fourier Transform Mass Spectrometers.<\/p>\n<p>\nIt currently has 3 primary and useful abilities, though development continues.<\/p>\n<p>\n1) &#8220;cut-and-paste&#8221; spectra from the display to graphics programs such as CorelDraw and PowerPoint. When this &#8220;Cut and paste&#8221; feature is used, the spectra are copied as windows metafiles (default), or bitmaps, or as raw x,y text. The options are selectable via a right-click on the display window.<\/p>\n<p>\n2) quick access to FTMS data from the desktop. The data is read in from raw time domain data files (currently set up to read IonSpec FTMS data files) and FFT&#8217;ed for display. Data can also be displayed as time domain, frequency domain, or Mass-Intensity tables. Also, the pulse sequence can be displayed for checking parameters from the desktop.<\/p>\n<p>\n3) The raw data is available for development of custom data analysis code.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/msr\/files\/Images\/BudaOverview.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\nTo download the B.U.D.A. compiled program, go to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/msr\/buda\/installation\/\">Installation<\/a>. Installation instructions are also available.<\/p>\n<p>\nTo download the B.U.D.A. source code, go to go to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/msr\/buda\/source-code\/\">Source Code<\/a>. It uses Microsoft Visual C++ compiler (I use Version 6.O).<\/p>\n<p>\nPlease email me any improvements to the source code so that I can permanently incorporate them into the official B.U.D.A version.
