Students first complete the online modules in <span>Authorship, Data Management, and Research Misconduct<\/span> available through Boston University&#8217;s RCR program <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/research\/ethics-compliance\/responsible-conduct-of-research\/training-programs\/rcr-for-doctoral-or-postdoctoral-researchers\/\">Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) training<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Students then complete the following in-person workshops:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Data integrity, power and positionality in the academy<\/li>\n<li class=\"xmsolistparagraph\">Authorship &amp; setting expectations within mentoring relationships<\/li>\n<li class=\"xmsolistparagraph\">Accountability, peer review, and bias<\/li>\n<li class=\"xmsolistparagraph\"><o:p><\/o:p>Research misconduct<o:p><\/o:p>\n<ul type=\"circle\"><\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul type=\"circle\"><\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul type=\"disc\"><\/ul>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul type=\"circle\"><\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Students in the LEADS Research track &amp; Medical Student Summer Research Program (MSSRP) complete a Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) training course during the summer.
