FALL 2023<\/span><\/h3>\n

BUMC-MSP<\/strong> is a series of academic and experiential programs sponsored by<\/p>\n

B<\/strong>U Medical Campus E<\/strong>ducation, A<\/strong>dvising and M<\/strong>entoring in S<\/strong>TEM-Medicine (BEAMS<\/strong>).<\/p>\n

For FALL 2023<\/u><\/span>, we will be offering \u201cIntroduction to Medicine\u201d<\/strong><\/span>:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

a 5-session\u00a0program<\/strong> that offers exposure to various fields of medicine in a virtual format<\/strong><\/p>\n

with featured topics<\/strong> such as diabetes, heart disease, and cancer<\/span><\/p>\n

with <\/span>medical students from BUMC<\/strong> as instructors.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Open to all high-school students enrolled in Boston Public Schools in grades 9 through 12<\/p>\n

who would like to explore careers in healthcare and biomedical sciences.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Dates:<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0 Five Saturdays–on 10\/21, 10\/28, 11\/4, 11\/11, and 11\/8<\/p>\n

Time:<\/strong> \u00a0<\/span>10 am \u2013 12 pm<\/p>\n
