P2P is managed by the Proposal Development Office at Boston University Chobanian &amp; Avedisian School of Medicine.<\/span><span>\u00a0 <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #0981b5;\">Masters Program<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span><div class=\"bu_collapsible_container \" aria-live=\"polite\" data-customize-animation=\"false\"><h4 class=\"bu_collapsible\" aria-expanded=\"false\"tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\">Health Sciences &amp; Education Masters Program<\/h4><div class=\"bu_collapsible_section\" style=\"display: none;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/gms\/hse\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Health Sciences Education Master&#8217;s Program<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Designed for professionals who seek to improve their skill set and advance their career with degrees in nursing, medical or other health professions, as well as those with degrees in health sciences, including those with an advanced degree or terminal masters (MD, DO, PA, DMD, PhD).\u00a0 \u00a0<span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #0981b5;\">High-School + Pathway Programs<\/span><\/h3>\n<div class=\"bu_collapsible_container \" aria-live=\"polite\" data-customize-animation=\"false\"><h4 class=\"bu_collapsible\" aria-expanded=\"false\"tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\">BUMC Education, Advising &amp; Mentoring in STEM (BEAMS)<\/h4><div class=\"bu_collapsible_section\" style=\"display: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/medsci\/training\/beams\/\">BEAMS<\/a><span> is a pipeline program created by the Department of MedSci&amp;Edu with three inter-related student levels: high-school level, undergraduate level, and post-graduate level. \u00a0Between 2017 and 2020, we partnered with the Boston Area Health Education Center (BAHEC). In 2021, BEAMS enlarged its scope and is now reaching out to all Boston Public School (BPS) students to provide career exploration and mentoring for all high-school students attending BPS in grades 9 through 12. BEAMS provides programming by collaboration with faculty and students from Chobanian &amp; Avedisian School of Medicine <\/span><span>and Graduate Medical Sciences (<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bumc.bu.edu\/gms\/\">GMS<\/a><span>). BEAMS also\u00a0provides programming by collaboration with students in the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bu.edu\/khc\/\">BU Kilachand Honors College<\/a><span>. In addition, BEAMS has partnered with the Pre-Health Programs at BU College of Arts &amp; Sciences and the College Access &amp; Student Success Office at BU Wheelock College of Education &amp; Human Development, in our efforts to create bridges between high-school students and undergraduate students as well as bridges between undergraduate students and post-graduate students.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Faculty at the MedSci&amp;Edu Department are engaged in a wide range of programs and scholarly activities.
