These resources, sometimes also called &#8220;digested&#8221; or &#8220;synthesized&#8221; resources, are structured to save you time and effort by providing varying levels of analysis.<\/p>\n<p><em>Examples of Filtered Information Resources:<\/em><span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4>Cochrane Systematic Reviews<\/h4>\n<p>Cochrane Systematic Reviews utilize stringent and explicit methods to collect, critically appraise, and succinctly summarize the best available medical literature, including individual studies. Generally Cochrane Systematic Reviews answer a specific clinical question.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mrw.interscience.wiley.com.ezproxy.bu.edu\/cochrane\/cochrane_clsysrev_articles_fs.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews<\/a><span>\u00a0<\/span>provides full-text access to Cochrane Systematic Reviews<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Non-Cochrane Systematic Reviews<\/h4>\n<p>A Systematic Review in general is &#8220;an overview of primary studies that used explicit and reproducible methods&#8221;.<sup>1<\/sup><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mrw.interscience.wiley.com.ezproxy.bu.edu\/cochrane\/cochrane_cldare_articles_fs.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Database of Abstracts of Reviews of Effects (DARE)<\/a><span>\u00a0<\/span>critically assesses systematic reviews from a variety of medical journals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Critically Appraised Articles<\/h4>\n<p>Critically Appraised Articles analyze a single research article, judge its validity, and publish an enhanced abstract of the article.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/annals-org.ezproxy.bu.edu\/aim\/journal-club\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ACP Journal Club<\/a><span>\u00a0<\/span>offers enhanced abstracts of studies identified as being methodologically sound and clinically relevant.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>1.
