The\u00a0Geri<\/span>atric Hematology-Onc<\/span>ology fellowship curriculum allows for an immersive experience in the fields of\u00a0Geri<\/span>atrics and Hematology-Onc<\/span>ology over four years of fellowship. Year 1 focuses on Geriatric Medicine with rotations in various practice settings to provide broad exposure to the care of older adults. While focusing on Geriatrics, year 1 also immerses fellows in longitudinal hematology\/oncology clinics, as well as inpatient hematology\/oncology electives. Years 2 through 4 focus on Hematology-Oncology, rotating through inpatient services, subspecialty experiences, and protected research and elective time. Research and elective time can be shaped to fit the fellow’s specific interests in Geriatrics\/Hematology\/Oncology. \u00a0Throughout the fellowship, fellows have longitudinal ambulatory clinics in both specialties, as well as leadership, clinical teaching and health systems training.<\/span><\/p>\n
