Lisa Keller is an Oncology Nurse Practitioner at Boston University Medical Center. She currently specializes in gastrointestinal cancer and has also worked extensively with breast and thoracic cancer patients as well. She received a Master of Science in Nursing from the MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2005 and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Brandeis University in 1999. Prior to working at BU/BMC, she held NP positions at the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center in Boston, MA and the Maimonides Cancer Center in Brooklyn, NY. Lisa is an active clinician and educator with a special interest in mindfulness based stress reduction strategies. She is a member of the Wellness and Professional Vitality Advisory Council at BU/BMC. She is also a member of the BU/BMC Cancer Center Anti-Racism Steering Committee. Lisa is interested in neuroendocrine and gastrointestinal cancer clinical research trials as well as healthcare disparities research.
