Using BU (802.1x) with the BlackBerry<\/h2>\n

  1. From the home screen click on the\u00a0Manage Connections<\/strong> icon.<\/li>\n
  2. If your Wi-Fi connection is turned off, click on the checkbox next to\u00a0Wi-Fi<\/strong> to turn it on.<\/li>\n
  3. Next, scroll down to\u00a0Set Up Wi-Fi Network.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Click\u00a0Next.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  5. Click on\u00a0Scan for Networks.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  6. Scroll down to\u00a0BU (802.1x)<\/strong> and click on it.<\/li>\n
  7. Make sure Security Type is\u00a0PEAP.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  8. Under user name, type in your\u00a0BU login name<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  9. Under password, type in you\u00a0Kerberos<\/strong> password.<\/li>\n
  10. Under CA certificate, select\u00a0Thawte<\/strong> Premium Server CA.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  11. Scroll down to\u00a0Connect<\/strong> and click.<\/li>\n
  12. Once you get the Connection Successful screen, press\u00a0Next<\/strong>.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  13. Click\u00a0Finish.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    You should now be connected to the BU (802.1x) wireless network.<\/p>\n

    Configuring E-mail on your BlackBerry<\/h2>\n

    A BlackBerry device is able to synchronize your your inbox\/e-mail folders, contacts\/address books, calendars, notes, and tasks.<\/p>\n

    Using a BU-owned BlackBerry<\/h3>\n

    If you are using a BU-provided BlackBerry, we will order, provision, and setup your device<\/strong> so that when you get the device all services will be working.<\/p>\n

    Using your own BlackBerry<\/h3>\n

    You can receive your\u00a0BU Exchange e-mail via IMAP<\/a> with the settings below. Note that IMAP access does not provide integration with Exchange Calendar or Contacts.<\/p>\n
