Installing SAS for the first time?\u00a0Click here for SAS installation instructions.<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n

Step 1: Download the renewal file for your version of SAS and save it do your desktop<\/p>\n

SAS for Students<\/a><\/p>\n

SAS for Faculty Staff<\/a><\/p>\n

Step 2: \u00a0Follow the instructions below depending on the version of SAS you are updating<\/p>\n

SAS 9.3 and SAS 9.4 Renewal Instructions<\/h3>

  1. <\/a>Select -> Start Button -> Programs -> SAS -> Utilities -> Renew SAS Software. The Renew SAS Software dialog box appears.\"9.3.Renewal.3\"<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Select \u201cBrowse\u201d to select\u00a0the renewal file from where you saved the it.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Select Next.

  4. Press OK to Verify the SAS Installation Data.\u00a0 (Make sure it says a date in the future,\u00a0if not contact the BUMC IT for a new renewal file<\/em>)<\/strong>

    \n<\/strong>The default installation location for SAS appears in two fields. If your installation locations are different, specify product location by selecting the Browse buttons.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  5. Select Renew

    \n<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    SAS is now updated. It will expire on the date that you see in step 4.<\/strong><\/p>\n

      2. When prompted to “Choose Language,” Click OK<\/strong>\"\"<\/a><\/li>\n
      3. When SAS Deployment Manager is launched, make sure “Renew SAS Software” is selected under “Administration Tasks” and click “Next”
        \n<\/strong>        \"\"<\/a><\/li>\n
      4. Verify “Apply SAS Foundation license file for renewal” is check and click “Next”\u00a0<\/strong>\"\"<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n
      5. Select \u201cBrowse\u201d to select\u00a0the renewal file from where you saved the it. (Make sure it says a date in the future,\u00a0if not contact the BUMC IT for a new renewal file<\/em>)\"\"<\/a><\/strong><\/li>\n
      6. Click “Next”<\/strong><\/li>\n
      7. Click “Start”
