Overview<\/th>\nBUMC IT monitors and operates the networking infrastructure for the Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine, Goldman School of Dental Medicine, the School of Public Health, and the administrative groups for the Medical Campus.<\/p>\n

The network infrastructure consists of fiber, copper, and microwave connections ranging in speed from 10mb\/s to 10-Gigabit Ethernet.\u00a0 Desktop connections are, largely, Ethernet or Fast Ethernet connections and there is a growing wireless presence on campus utilizing 802.11a and 802.11g networks.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
